NNE TREES practices SUSTAINABLE logging. We DON'T promote clear-cutting whenever possible. Rather the removal of over-stock timber, invasive species, or trees that obstruct or diminish the safety of you and your loved ones are what we aim to remove while still trying to leave behind the trees that bring us the peace, comfort, and scenic vistas Vermont is known for.
NNE TREES specializes in SALVAGE work. We use low-impact tools and equipment to clean up the forrest floor and promote regeneration or invite native animal species. This is popular after storms, property neglect or significantly harsh winters.
NNE TREES believes in the time honored tradition of heating with wood. We believe it is the most-sustainable method of heating our homes through the harsh Vermont heating seasons. Also, we promote the use of different species of wood for heating based on the season you are heating in. Many of our wood species come directly from salvage jobs we have done for other customers or on our own property.
